The Redwoods

Last year in the middle of July, my family and I went on an epic vacation to the Redwoods Resort in Italy. We had such a wonderful time. The weather was beautiful. There were no clouds with warm sunny rays shining down on us. A plethora of activities filled us with little boredom throughout our Redwood days.

My parents are known as Redd and Kitty. They contacted their very close friends, Eric and Donna, from Lahainaluna High School in Maui. Eric and Donna were also staying at the Redwoods Resort. Eric, Donna, Redd, and Kitty took an over abundance of photos on their Canon and Nikon digital single reflex cameras. These fascinating photos were taken for Laurie. She is a family friend back home in Las Vegas, Nevada.

My older brother Kelso and I took a dip in nearby Lake Hyde for an hour. Kelso calls me Lee even though my name is Leo. After that swim, we ventured off farther into the Fez Woods that is next the Redwoods Resort and Lake Hyde. Kelso wanted to hike up Mt. Jackie because he thought it would be amusing. The decision was made and we made the extensive and tiring stroll up to the peak of Mt. Jackie. When Kelso and I reached the top, we were exhausted. Kelso and I trekked down Mt. Jackie towards the Redwoods Resort to spend time with our loving family and friends.

As we proceeded to our room at the Redwoods Resort, our family had a surplus of authentic Italian food. The Redwoods Resort served plenty of Italian entrees and eats just for our us. The Redwoods arranged a cornucopia of exceptional dishes such as lasagna,  calzones, ziti, ravioli, pizza marinara, ciabatta bread, and many more.  We shared a bunch of beautiful stories, multiple bursts of roaring laughs and memorable moments. It was surely a  groovy  time.

This time last year was absolutely electrifying. The weather outside was delightful. The Redwoods Resort treated my family nicely. Everything was pleasant from the numerous activities Kelso and I accomplished to the admirable cuisine they served for us. I positively would love another trip here or somewhere better to have unforgettable experiences. Family time is the best time.
